Your support and contribution is invaluable
ODWIN Learning Center is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization that relies
completely on contributions and grants from private sources for the support necessary
to pursue its mission. Over 80% of the total budget goes to direct services for
the students. We are grateful to everyone who has joined with us in the pursuit
of that mission.
Every contribution helps to advance one more person into a professional level
career, and that person's family into a more secure future.

On Friday, November 3, 2006 ODWIN Learning Center celebrated its 42nd Annual Awards Gala and a special tribute was given to Mary T. Tacelli.
Guests enjoyed an evening of dinner, dancing and celebration as tribute was given to Mary T. Tacelli, ODWIN’s Executive Director for over twenty years, E. Lorraine Baugh, President/CEO of Lena Park CDC, and Father Daniel Finn, Pastor of St. Mark's Church. Mary received both the Mary Malone Award for the Pursuit of Excellence and the Sine Qua Non Award. The Gala was also an opportunity to introduce the new Executive Director, Leonard M. Lee, to ODWIN’s supporters and friends at this historic event. For the first time, this event was completely sold out.
Also our Committee increased our fundraising goal to more than $50k. With the help of more than 50 community-based organizations, local businesses and students, we came close to achieving that goal, raising nearly $40,000!
The Annual Gala was one of the most exciting and memorable occasions of the year, thanks to our corporate partners whose support was phenomenal, and our many friends.
In 44 years ODWIN has helped 65,000 individuals to achieve their goal of going to college so that they can have a better life. This was a unique opportunity for many individuals and businesses to become a part of that success. Thanks to all those who participated and helped to make this event a tremendous success.
